Welcome Message The demand for critical minerals is soaring due to the world paradigm transition towards carbon neutrality and sustainable development. In addition, rapidly changing international circumstances caused uncertainties in global supply chain. In this regard, with an aim to initiate a dialogue and play a leading role in securing critical minerals supply, Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) is hosting 「KIGAM INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FORUM 2024」.
In the Forum, geological agencies of cooperating countries will share the status of critical minerals in their countries, and give a presentation on each countries’ endeavor to respond to clean energy transition. This Forum will give participants an opportunity to earn insights on creating a new value chain and responding to the energy transition.
